Clients: Consultants, Engineers, NSW Government Agencies, Property Developers Candidates: Town Planners, Building Surveyors, Private Certifiers, Executive Directors Salary Package: $60-85k base plus 30-40% commission on billings above threshold OTE: $150-200k per annum Experience needed: You will be a recruiter who understands the approval and compliance legislation in Australia as well as the various types of planners and surveyors involved in the process. You will also have a good understanding of the different market sectors such as buildings, infrastructure, mining, transport and others. The ability to place planning and surveying contractors with government departments is also required for this fast paced desk in a very competitive market. Local expertise is most favourable but not essential.
Clients: Civil Contractors & Subcontractors (First & Second Tier) Candidates: Project Managers, Site Managers, Operations Managers, Estimators, Projects Engineers, OH&S Managers, Contract Administrators etc etc Salary Package: $80-100k base plus 30-40% commission on billings above threshold OTE: $200-250k per annum Experience needed: You will have an excellent knowledge of the civil construction industry in Australia as well as proven abilities in forming strong relationships with large engineering contractors - the line managers of these companies do not 'suffer fools' so you will need a good understanding of the civil industry to command respect. You will need to understand technical information and you will understand the necessity to follow the large civil and infrastructure projects around Australia.
Clients: Property Developers, Project Managers, Engineering Consultancies, NSW Government Agencies Candidates: Client Side Project Managers, Development Managers, Design Managers, Business Development Managers, Property Executives, Acquisition Managers Salary Package: $100-120k base plus 30-40% commission on billings above threshold OTE: $350-400k per annum Experience needed: This is a quintessential desk for Conduit - we are known and respected as experts in this space. Your clients in this market will be high profile property executives with little time on their hands and minimal patience - you will need to know the property cycle inside out in order to command respect. To be successfull in this desk you will need to have experience within the property or construction recruitment market with a billings capacity of $500k + per annum.
