MBA NSW Breakfast Seminar Oct 13th

MBA Members; keep your diary free on the morning of October 13th as Conduit Recruitment sponsors the next MBA NSW Breakfast Seminar at the 'Home Ideas Centre' in Alexandria.

SEMINAR TOPIC – SHAM CONTRACTING

RE: INVESTIGATION INTO SHAM CONTRACTING IN THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY,

NEW TAX OFFICE REPORTING REGIME

You would be aware that the Australian Building and Construction Commission (ABCC) is currently conducting an enquiry into “sham contracting” in the building and construction industry.

Further, the Federal Government wishes to introduce, effective 1 July 2012 a new Taxation reporting regime (specifically for the Building and Construction Industry), which will require contractors to report on an annual basis all payments made to sub-contractors.

No doubt these matters will have a dramatic impact on how business in conducted in the industry.

You are invited to attend a seminar to hear just how these issues will affect your business and the building and construction industry.

This event is sponsored and organised by Clinton Recruitment & Conduit Recruitment and our guest speaker is:
