The Presentation

Simon will bring us up to speed with the science and global politics of climate change. While currently obscured by the smoke of the global financial crisis, an enormous amount of work is being done around the world on understanding climate change and developing an effective global agreement to address it.

Simon will present Al Gore's new and up to date slide show plus a number of other insights relevant to us.

The next UN Conference on Climate Change, COP15 in Copenhagen this December, is a major milestone for the world in the production of a suitable response to climate change. The agreement that should emerge will be much more significant Kyoto, a defining moment for our global society that will affect us all.
Simon sees the shift in the world occurring around climate change as a tremendously exciting challenge that is full of opportunity.
